Don
Stewart

SchubertShadow

Flute, Clarinet, Horn, Cello & Bass

Perhaps the only piece for this combination of instruments (Fl., Clar., Horn, Cello and Bass). Written in this composer's singular modern jazzy style, it's been heard in Vermont, New Hampshire, and NYC. Based on fragments from Schubert's Trout Quintet, in commemoration of that composer's 150th death year.
